Playgroup
2 – 3 YearsMost children arrive having never spent a morning away from home, so the first few weeks are mostly about settling in — the same face at the door, the same corner to leave their bag in, and a routine that repeats until it starts to feel safe. The day then runs in short bursts rather than long sittings: circle time and rhymes, music and movement, free play indoors and out, and a quiet stretch with a picture book before home time.
Practically, that means an air-conditioned room, a teacher always within arm's reach, help with the washroom whenever it is needed, and lunch from home kept cold in the fridge until they are hungry. Activity and craft material from Caprics Learning Lab goes home with them, so the same rhymes and colours turn up at your kitchen table too.
Nursery
3 – 4 YearsBy three, children want to know how things work and can stay with one thing a good deal longer. Nursery is built on that: phonics and the first steps of reading, number sense through counting and sorting real objects, stories told by the teacher and then retold by the children, and art and hands-on activities they pick from a few options rather than being handed one.
Each child works through their own NEP-aligned Caprics workbooks and worksheets, age-graded, with the teacher keeping a running sense of where they have got to rather than testing them on it. Smart TV sessions bring in rhymes, visual stories and guided phonics — minutes at a time, not hours — and the rest of the day is spent off screen, in the room or out in the play area.
Daycare
8:30 AM – 7:00 PMDaycare is for families whose day runs longer than the school's. Children stay on after their programme finishes and the afternoon is deliberately unhurried — a mealtime, a proper nap in a cooled, quiet room, and then free play indoors or outside depending on the weather and the mood of the group. Children who have schoolwork get help with it before pick-up.
Purified RO drinking water is within reach all day and the fridge keeps lunchboxes cold from morning drop-off. Classrooms, corridors and play areas are on CCTV throughout, and someone is with the children from the first morning bell until the last one is collected at 7:00 PM.
Inside the Classroom
Two corners where the learning happens by doing
Some things a child understands only once they have handled them. These two set-ups are built for exactly that — a story you can act out, and a concept you can pick up and turn over in your hands.
Story Lab
A stage where the story is acted out, not just read
A proper little theatre — changeable painted scenes, character cut-outs and puppets the children move themselves, and big story books to work from. A story is read once, then put back together on the stage in their own words. Children still finding their words get a puppet to speak through.
Scholastic Lab
Concepts you can take off a shelf and handle
Open, child-height shelves of puzzles, sorting games and letter and number trays, all reachable without asking. A face-out book rack, an activity rug for floor work, and a cushioned corner for reading alone. The wall charts teach in pictures before words, at a child's eye level.
